If you own or work at a farm, chances are that you are pretty handy. The Poop Shaker can be built from readily available materials purchased at your local metal supplier, online or through this web site. We have built several models out of tubular steel and aluminum. Our latest model, the Poop Shaker II, is an aluminum version which has a slightly larger tray area while minimizing the total weight of the unit. This is the unit that is described in our step by step assembly plans.

The detailed plans include:

Eight pages of fabrication and assembly instruction in step by step format and pictures,
Two page parts list, cross referenced to the online supplier we use for our model (with their part numbers),
Five CAD drawings detailing the frame, tray, motor mounts, sprocket drive, and drive and cover plates,
One scaled drawing for driven mechanism hole pattern,
Wiring diagram for optional on/off switch,
Contact information for the suppliers we used.
You (or a friend) will need a small welder for the frame fabrication, but that’s about as complex as it gets.
Plans are available in paper form (through US post-mail) or adobe (pdf) format which you can download here.

Feel free to call us at 609-410-5113 to discuss purchasing the plans or for assistance during your assembly.

The hard copy plans come in a plastic cover spiral bound version—with 11” x 17”scaled hole template (these are $28.75 which includes shipping)
